kinda fell out of touch with the genre but honestly the Noisey articles this summer brought me back in. gonna spend some time going through the thread for some more recs. been digging this one... She, by Elle
I ordered a copy of As the Roots Undo on vinyl because they said they only had a few left. Kathleen posted this. Hopefully they end up doing it soon. Its a little tiresome hearing bands complain about the digital age.
It just doesn't make sense that a band wouldn't want the maximum audience possible. I've purchased the album two or three times now. I just want a way to take it on the go with me and have it with the rest of my music library. Its definitely for selfish reasons, but I'm tired of hearing the excuses for exclusion.
Back in the day most of the bands in this scene refused to even have barcodes on their CDs so I’m not surprised that they’re not quick to jump on the corporate streaming bandwagon haha
Oh man. I absolutely adore these guys. Check out their Untitled also. Seriously, if you have a chance to see these guys, do. It's a mixture of fog, strobe lights, and sweat. The singer just walks around the pit the entire time.
I’m extremely here for Envy reappearing from out of nowhere with two of the best songs they’ve ever written
https://prissy.bandcamp.com wrote this short ep over the summer and just waiting to find a vocalist to release it
