Dude, same...I'm 22 and I've been using sunscreen religiously for the past 2 years and on and off since I was 13. I just started using this eye cream I had shipped over from Japan. It's got placenta in it but it smells so good haha. My goal is to be in my 60s and still look 30 so everyone will think I'm a vampire. just girly things~

I so wanted to get a free MAC lipstick but I happened to be working RIGHT when they opened so I couldn't. But a news channel went to a different mall and filmed the line and holy SHIT. I wonder if the mall by me was that crazy. IF so, I probably wouldn't have had a shot even if I didn't work.

I think I might be switching my allegiance from Sephora to Ulta which is a big deal for me tbh!!! I shop at both but Sephora is like my HQ home base. But honestly Ulta has the better rewards program and the credit card. And lately I've been drawn more to drugstore products. Drugstore has really stepped up their game so I don't mind buying it over the higher end stuff and making my bank account hate me less. Sephora still has NARS and some other brands I prefer so I won't ghost it completely, but imma probably switch the bulk of my shopping to Ulta. It kind of hurts to say!! I've been loyal to Sephora for like 10 years!!!!

I shop almost exclusively at Ulta, and I love them. Amazing rewards program, email deals every day, and they're constantly adding prestige brands.

I switched to Ulta mainly this year and already have enough points for $125 off. Their point system is just so great and they always have 5x points. I'll just get things I can't get at Ulta at Sephora and everything else I'm sticking with Ulta.

I need to schedule a dental appointment but I'm scared! I haven't been in like 7 years and I know I prob have cavities. I take better care of my teeth now but there was a good chunk of time where I didn't so now I'm all insecure and hate having people look at them. And I looked up the dentist people keep recommending me and its some young guy! All my doctors are women except my eye doctor who I've had forever so that makes me anxious and I don't really know why.

I need to go to the dentist so bad too but they terrify me!! My dentist growing up was really mean and would yell at me about everything so now I hate the dentist. But 3 of my wisdom teeth are in, my last one will not come in which freaks me out but I really, REALLY don't want them pulled. My one tooth has been really sensitive so I think I have a cavity. I've been putting it off but my friend is going this week and told me she will tell me if this one is nice or not. If he is and accepts my insurance, I guess I'll make an appointment :cringe: (I also basically have all women doctors. They just make me feel more comfy and they all seem like motherly to me which makes me feel less anxious. They also seem to listen to me more/better but idk)

I have an awesome dentist who's known me and my family forever, if she ever retires I'm screwed

I made the appointment. I felt like an idiot cause I don't know anything about my dental insurance but he was super helpful and looked me up and gave quotes. I have to call back later with my dad's insurance info but he projects with my dad's and my insurance I will barely pay out of pocket, if it all. Cause with just my insurance I'd still have to pay like $75 out of pocket for a cleaning and I'm like .....uhhhh

I used to not be good at dental care. I think it was partly me not getting how important it is as a yougin but also just not knowing how to brush properly and stuff. When I went last the dental hygienist commented to my sister that her teeth were much better than mine so I've been weird about going again. This is a different place tho and I've heard good things!

Every year for the holidays I get a ton of body washes and lotions and stuff that I don't want and I end up stock piling them so I'm determined to use them all up now before I let myself buy more. I should just throw them out cause they're mostly cheap and meh but I guess at least I save money.

I'm also considering making my own soap. It seems a lil pricey to get started but once i have the basics maybe it would be cheaper in the long run? Maybe? Or just cute and whimsical idk!

Its ridic to me how much some ppl spend on skincare. I get that it's a battle and whatever works works, but man. I was helping a friend budget and I was like what is this category ur spending $175/month on? Skincare! Wtf. I think some ppl assume I spend more but it's not necessary to me. Its all drugstore. The only thing that's not is a drunk elephant cleanser bar but I don't plan on repurchasing that. I like it but it's not life-changing.

She spends nearly $200 on serums and eye cream in addition to that and I'm like sis u don't even wear sunscreen like go get sunscreen and a good moisturizer! Ur doing too much here!

It's insane. Was talking to a woman who works at Saks selling stuff and there are Chanel products that are $400-$700 for less than oz. I was flabbergasted.

I have approximately 1000 cavities. Smh. I knew it. Everyone tried to tell me I was overreacting but I kneeew it. I told the hygienist that I'm insecure because I have big teeth and an overbite and she told me that my teeth aren't big so much as it's the way my jaw is positioned? And that I have a small mouth. So that's annoying because I can't really do anything about those things, so big looking teeth forever I guess.

Currently sitting here with a like sheet mask for your feet on???? It's little bags you slip your feet in and they have lotion stuff in them. It's weird and now I'm stuck here for 20 mins. Not really expecting any results but I have them so I'll use them lol

Anyone used dry shampoo? Recommend it or no? I just want to use it for the days I don't have time to wash my hair in the shower

I don't know how I went so long without it. I have dark hair so I was scared it would make my hair look dusty/gray but Living Proof's is amazing. For drug store I like the Dove one. It doesn't leave me feeling as clean, but it does a pretty good job!

dry shampoo is great. i use it all the time cause i have purple hair and washing my hair too often makes it fade too quickly. the trick is youre actually suppose to spray it in and then let it sit for a few minutes before you start blending it in. a lot of people panic and start blending it right away causs they dont want the residue to show. i use it a lot to add volume or texture from too soft hair from cleaning. i like not your mothers personally dry shampoo + texturizer. i mean i cake this stuff on and i have darker purple hair right now and it doesnt show. not your mothers has a smaller sample/travel size. could buy that one and try it and see how you like it!
