Oh nooooo. Looks like I'm gonna be making a bad decision and spending money when I shouldn't Ulta is having 5x points on all fragrance and I'm almost out of my fave perfume. Too bad it is soooo expensive. Ugh why you do this to me Ulta?????
I've given up on the drunk elephant vitamin c serum (for now anyways). I didn't have an immediate negative reaction to it, but I noticed that over time I'd been breaking out and getting clogged pores more than usual. I had also been getting them in places where I never have spots (like my cheeks). It wasn't a crazy amount of breakouts or anything but there have been enough to make me want a break. Aside from using my morning cleanser day and night because I ran out of my nighttime one, this is the only thing I've changed about my routine so I'm pretty sure it's to blame. On to the next thing :(
There was a massive sale at the Cosmetics Company Store at the outlets this weekend. Picked up a MAC Retro Matte liquid lipstick (patchy af, truly horrid), Clinique Moisture Surge Intense (omg I adore it and I've only used it twice!), MAC pressed pigment (haven't used yet but omg pretty), and MAC Turquatic (SMELLS SO GOOD), AND AND AND a full size of Glamglow Supermud! I spent under $50, too. It was absolutely nuts. So good.
I ordered six products from The Ordinary and I'm so excited to start using them! They're SO cheap if anyone's into skin care products that are just the basics but quality ingredients and a great price. I spent like .. $35.

Picked up the buttermilk moisturizer from Mario Badescu and I'm in love. My dry patches are gone and my skin is soo soft!
Ulta is having 3x pts for platinum members. Ran out of sunscreen so I stocked up for the summer and my mom found a bag she liked so got that. Now I only need 130 points and I will be at 2000 points aka $125 shopping spree yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!
My eyebrows are a mess, but my specialist is booked until next week, which is when I was able to schedule an appointment. I couldn't make my last appt because the time slot that was available is when I have to leave for work, so I ended up canceling it.
Got my hair cut today and the girl messed up and ended up chopping more hair off than I wanted. Not happy. Now my hair is too short for my liking and I have to wait for it to grow. No pics will be posted at this time (and also my brows are horrendous and I hate waiting to get them done). Edit: and the layers are very uneven.
I need to stop buying lipstick. I bought 2 lipsticks from Mac and a mascara bc that was the 40% off seasonals. And a tarte lip scrub from sephora. I hope the lip scrub works. My lips get very chapped at random times. I also am craving buying one of the ABH glow kits.
I don't know what been going on, but my skin has been extra irritated and itchy. I haven't done anything different. I'm almost out of my hydrocortisone cream and that seems to work for a bit
Ok my breakouts are def not from skincare but something else. I have a breakout on my cheek by where my ear is diagonally down to my chin, on both sides. It's a perfect line like its from something. A breakout beard, if you will. I wash my pillowcases and stuff regularly but im gonna do it again and hope it helps. Smh. I bet it is from my Care Bear that I prop my head on sometimes. I washed it when I washed my bedding last but I'm gonna wash that too. Just smh all over the place!
I have a bunch of small zits on just one side of my face and i think its from my pillowcase cause i sleep on that side to look at my computer. So seems possible since theyre all on one side and none at all on the other. My face gets hot when i sleep too.
She seems to talk a lot about 100% Pure in her recent posts There's a store in my area, and maybe I'll have to stop by it sometime. Hope those products aren't overly expensive. The LUSH store nearest to me is hit or miss (small store that you bump into everyone) and they have some awesome looking highlighters that I want to give a try to
i just got some of the most uneven bangs of all time hahaha. they grow pretty fast so i aint even that mad. but they're fucked up
my bangs are fucked up too! the girl that cut my hair didn't know what she was doing (or what type of shears to use), because the entire cut is awful. so until my hair grows and I can go get it fixed, I keep it in a small pony tail/bun. I can cut my own bangs better with a crappy pair of childs scissors lol
My hair person was supposed to put colored extensions in my hair and she just like ...forgot lol. I had sent her a pic of what i wanted a few days ago. And I'm so dumb and anxious I didn't say anything. But I figured there wasn't anything that could really be done? She didn't have them dyed then and there wouldn't have been time and I don't have a lot of time anyway so... idk. Oop @ me
Oh noooooo!! Urban Decay is coming out with a new Naked palette called naked heat. I was watching swatch videos on it and now I want it so bad. I told myself I wasn't allowed to buy any palettes that had black shadows bc they take forever for me to go through and this one doesn't have one uh ohhhhh. I'm broke af this whole month but next time Ulta sends me a 20% off coupon or if UD is 5x the points or something I might cave.
