I'm trying to moisturize at night. I have two different night creams, one from Alaffia which is more of a lotion and the Freeman sleeping mask.
The sucky part of oily skin is when your makeup just gives up haha. I can blot and powder throughout the day but there just comes a point in the day where its like ABANDON SHIP and all slides off my face lol
The thing I hate about when I get very dry patchy I can't wear makeup. Then I feel like a goblin. I get so much anxiety when I have to go somewhere because I feel all eyes are on me. Actually that's how I feel in general when I'm in public.
Resisting buying things because of packaging is my life. So many items I want to buy because of cute packaging. Here is example
Is it just me or do a lot of these beauty "guru" or "models" you see on makeup artists page, they look like they have lip fillers? It seems everyone has full lips and some don't even look natural. It looks like they got punched in the mouth
I've always been self conscious about how thin mine are and the beauty gurus make me feel even worse lol
God yes, exactly this. Some days I don't even notice and then I'll look at myself in good lighting only to spot flakey patches all over my face. Worst. In the summer I tend to get pretty oily in my t-zone, but damn this winter is doing a number on my skin. This is my first winter living in a place where it actually snows and gets cold lol so I'm going through a bit of a learning curve. What do you guys do to try and battle dry patches?
Rehauling my skin routine. Ordered drunk elephant juju bar and tlc serum + finally ordered the rose Thayer witch hazel toner cause I've been lazy about reordering it when it runs out. Just sick of dull acne prone skin
I saw online that they sell Thayer at GNC, Walmart, Walgreens and Vitamin Shoppe (and maybe even CVS). You mentioned they don't sell it at Target near you, so maybe if one of these stores is nearby they might have it? That way you don't have to order online every time. lol
Naw I've checked and they don't sell it at the wal mart or Walgreens here. I know you can set it up to have things auto order every six months or however long you neee. I should look into that prob but it'd be nice to just be able to pick it up at the store tbh!
Has anyone tried the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion? I have more problems with acne now as an adult than I ever did as a teenager and I'm over it. I use Clinique for most of my skincare, but I've been looking for something to target specific spots.
Literally have this on like 4 spots right now and I love it. It doesn't get rid of them 100% from one day to the next, but I do notice it reduces redness, size, and healing time by a LOT. I've repurchased like 3 times.
Someone got me one of those gimmicky lipsticks that look green but applies a more normal shade and like low key I love it. It's noticeable but also kinda subtle shade of pink that is a good shade to balance out when I have bold eyeshadow. And it wasn't bad quality. I'm surprised lol
Anyone tried or used Schmidts Natural deodorant? It's on cartwheel and it looks new to the store because I've never heard of it before
I wish I could find a deodorant that actually works. I have hyperhidrosis and none of them work. Clinical strength ones don't even work and I still sweat through them. Only thing that I've found that works is actual prescription antiperspirant and it gives me a horrible rash. Wish I could afford to get Botox injections cause I'm sick of it.
I just need to vent about the fact that there aren't more unscented deodorants. Especially ones that work well.
I just want deodorant with normal scents, it's always called like Arctic Blizzard and I have no clue what that should smell like
I just had a lotion from Bath & Body Works and it said the scent should remind me of "rubies sparkling in the moonlight" Um, alrighty then lol
