VIB Rouge 4-7 VIB 11-14 I have my cart ready to go. I'll still need to get a gift for my dad and stepbrother and nephew but then I'll be done Xmas shopping!
Ugh fuuuuuck it's going to be like $200 on one check, but I guess I'll also be done with my shopping too. Hate.
in the process of dying my hair bright red out of shear boredom. i need to be stopped. i had dyed lot of pastel colors of the last couple of months but they had all faded and my hair had been back to its blonde for a good while...and an urge just overcame me while i was looking for cornbread at walmart. also my boyfriend helped me do it and hes not really used to dying hair as might one guess so i hope he didnt miss any spots cause he was strugggggling. only time will tell ya'll
I tried NARS sheerglow foundation for the first time in a while. I suspected it was breaking me out but it might have been other stuff too so now that my skin, routine, and birth control has settled imma try it again. hopefully I won't be in here in a few days crying about acne.
I pulled the trigger and spent $65 to get VIB Got the Tartelette Tease palette, Best Bite Redux, and Smashbox try it kit. My credit card is going to hate me next weekend. I already have a bunch of stuff in my cart for myself and family for Christmas.
I'm going to be stopping by Sephora on Monday to try a few foundations before the sale next weekend. Any suggestions? I have a sample of MUFE Ultra HD already and it's pretty good. I have combo-dry but break out at times. I find that True Match and ColorStay break up on my cheeks and nose, if that helps.
I almost went into Sephora the other day to buy more makeup I don't "need." I had to stop myself. Recently bought this and tried it out for the first time. Interested in seeing how it works. I'm tempted to buy their 100% Virgin coconut oil.
I have their coconut oil! I sleep with it in once a week. I don't notice a difference but for some reason I keep doing it lol
What's everyones holy grail toner? I'm almost out of my Neutrogena one and looking for something different. Also has anyone used the Garnier micellar water, and highly recommend it? I have a cleanser I use the works amazing and curious to see how the micellar water compares.
Thayer rose witch hazel is my fave toner but rn i'm using store brand witch hazel cause it's a pain having to order the Thayer one online. I like the Thayer one tho cause it doesn't have alcohol and is really soothing even tho it smells like roses/old lady. I use Simple micellar water and I like it a lot. even after makeup remover and cleanser the micellar water still picks up more makeup and junk left behind. it makes my face really soft too.
I might have to try the Simple micellar water. I googled it and looks like it's great for sensitive skin! Which is what I also need.
I use Garnier micellar water in the blue bottle since I use waterproof mascara. It's pretty good. I've tried a few other micellar waters, but none have worked as well. I want to try Bioderma, but I can't bring myself to splash out that much money. I'm a giant conundrum to myself, don't worry.
It appears to be the time of year that the weather reminds me that I should start using lotion. Should.
That's like my favorite feeling lol! well with my face. I live for the feeling of putting my super thick moisturizer on my face. I like the feeling of it sinking in and feeling soft. fave part of my skin routine. I should probably do better putting lotion on my arms and legs but oh well.
I just took a nap with this mascara on and it didn't flake off or smudge under my eyes or do any of that nonsense. DEFS buying this set, highly recommend. Sephora: Urban Decay : Total Perversion Reloaded : eye-sets
I use a like body cream instead of lotion and my skin is almost always soft during every season. I always moisturize my face too bc I have eczema around my nose/mouth and it gets really red when it's cold and I don't moisturizer.
Got the order that pushed me into VIB status today. Forgot what I ordered. Currently playing with Smashbox mascara and the Tartelette Tease palette (omg I need more Tarte shadows). Got so many samples. Still torn on what foundation to buy. Raaaaa
My current fave foundation is urban decay all nighter, it stays on all day without budging but it does oxidize on your skin a bit. And of course applied with a damp beauty blender.
I tried that the other day and am now breaking out. :( I was going to buy it, but I'm going to have to pass, I think. Next sample is Too Faced Born This Way. We'll see how that goes.
I can't get my foundation to match my skin tone. I've had pros do it and like it's all too dark, pink undertones, or like chalky white. It's so annoying. I've mixed colors, tried expensive, tried cheap. Bleh.
