That's beyond ridiculous.

 

Anybody join Ipsy?

 

I'd recommend Allure or Sephora Play over Ipsy or Birchbox. The items you get in the latter two are repeated SO FUCKING MUCH. I actually swapped my subs out a couple of months ago, so now I have Allure, Sephora, and once in a while I get a Glossybox.

 

I love the idea of these. I like to try new stuff without having to buy a full size. If i love it, I surely will buy.

 

I had Birchbox for years but left when they changed their points program because I didn't think it was worth it without the points. I have Sephora Play right now and have been really happy with the few boxes I've received so far but I know you can't always sign up right away (I know someone who has been on the waitlist for months). I've never had Ipsy because the boxes never really appealed to me, but I have a friend who gets it and is happy with it. If you are on the fence about which one to get, you can find unboxing videos and see what kind of items they normally send out.

 

There are a lot of unboxings on YouTube every month as well.

 

I used to have Ipsy but it wasn't really worth it anymore. If I got another subscription box it would definitely be Sephora play

 

I'm a makeup hoarder so I don't do those bc my stash would get even more unmanageable lol

 

I would really like to find a box that is a bunch of bath products like bath bombs and bath oils, etc. But I can only afford to get 1 box right now and I don't want to cancel Sephora Play so it will have to wait. If Lush ever came out with a sub box I would sign up to that shit immediately. Give me all the bath bombs!!!

 

I had to upgrade my storage after a couple of months. I have a few bags of junk that I want to take to a women's shelter once I stop being so lazy. It's ridiculous how much stuff I have that I'll never use.

 

Yeah the last thing I need is makeup sent to me routinely lol. I already have an alarming amount

 

My husband would say the same thing about my stash. And I really don't even have that much...haha.
But we won't miss this measly $10 a month and I get the mail before he does hahaha.

 

I ran out of room in my lip drawer and decided to do a bit of a clean out. I want to keep most of these and I'm realizing that I have a problem... I need more space.

 

I decided to keep 24 and give 7 to my sister.

I feel ridiculous. lol

 

I'm probably gonna post my lipsticks when my organizer stuff gets here next week and they finally look pretty, and you will feel ridiculous no longer!

 

I am too ashamed to ever post my lipsticks lmao The amount that I have is just absurd. Lipstick is seriously my weakness (and eyeshadow palettes....)

 

I only have two palettes (Naked Basics and the Gwen Stefani one), but I almost always wear the same type of eye look. I'm terrible at making things even on both sides, plus my hooded eyes make life difficult. But lips? tbh I kind of want to ditch my hair stuff drawer and use that for lips as well. lol

 

Sometimes I really switch it up. Go bold or go home.

I have hooded eyes, too so I know the pain! My right eye is also bigger than my left one so nothing ever looks the same. I wear glasses so I feel like I can kinda get away with it since they help hide my mistakes. But lipstick.....I am basically known for always wearing lipstick. If I am seen outside of my house without lipstick on everyone assumes I am sick lol

 

I have cooled it on eyeshadow palettes. They are bulky, inconvenient to travel with, and I only own a few where I actually use all the colors. I have my eye on one more small one, but after I get it I'm cutting myself off lol. Lipsticks are my weakness too. Trying not to buy those either cause I have enough, tho I can't say I can resist the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks for much longer. I'm trying to focus more on my face, like with concealers and good foundation and powders and stuff.

 

Glasses for life. A lot of the time I'll just put Bad to the Bronze (the Color Tattoo thing) and some thing shiny all over with some mascara and liner and call it a day.

I feel weird wearing lipstick when I don't put foundation on, but my skin has been pretty great lately. I might have to give it a shot and just roll with it.

 

I actually finished the first naked pallet. I know I prob should have gotten rid of it and not used it for so long but I didn't get an eye infection or anything so I kept using it.

 

tbh I treat makeup like I do food. If it looks and smells okay, I'm going for it lol. None of it smells or feels chalky and outdated so... I still use my UD Book of Shadows Volume I palette. For reference, the Naked palette hadn't even been invented yet. I think I got it in 2008 omg. Book of Shadows is the only palette I've hit pan on too, and only on one color, which is why I find them kinda wasteful now.

I'm the same tbh. I spent money on it... I'm going to use it until it isn't usable anymore. Fuck the haters.

 

right? Just like my fridge, I go through it all regularly. I smell and swatch things and if it's off I'll throw it out. Things like mascara I'm diligent about tossing regularly, but you can't get too far with old mascara anyway
