I remember listening to a podcast and them mentioning that when it comes to regulating cosmetics in the US the idea is that the product is not harmful until proven harmful in contrast to Europe where all cosmetic products are harmful and must be proven otherwise. Something like that.
I would say resist the temptation buuuuut at the same time Origins is my favorite skincare brand so I kinda think you should do it
Origins is also my favorite skincare brand but I already have two of the spot removers, Checks and Balances, A Perfect World, Zero Oil, Mega-Bright, Never A Dull Moment, two of the masks, toners and one of the serums. Now they're offering $20 off $45 and dammit, I'M BROKE.
You should! I have a box filled with samples. I typically don't order from sephora unless they're giving away good ones, and for vib and vib Rouge members they are always giving away bags filled with deluxe samples. I never get their perfume samples unless it's one I really want. I scored Flowerbomb and Elizabeth and James' white nirvana and that's all I need! With the samples I'm not interested in it just throw them in with gifts for people or take my sample box to work and let people take what they want
i use these Olay Gentle Clean Foaming Face Cleanser, 7.0 fl oz | PG Shop US Neutrogena Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes, 25 Count - Walmart.com
Oooof I wish I knew this because I totally just bought two things from Sephora. Could've saved some $$ :( How do you feel about the spot treatments, mega bright, and the never a dull moment? I've been eyeing those up
Jeeeez, Flowerbomb?! That's amazing. 100% becoming a smarter Sephora online shopper after this, thank you!!
I personally have never used the Work Hard Molding Paste, so I can't comment on how similar this would be, but hey I just thought I'd toss this suggestion out there as it might work for you. Basically what I've been using for well over 5 years now is called Redken Rough Paste 12. I love it because it creates a hold that lasts me the entire day (though I just do office work all day), it's not greasy, and it certainly doesn't smell like a department store fragrance lol. It actually doesn't have much of a scent at all. Although I look like an idiot in this particular picture, this is the best one I could find that would give you an example of how it works and how I use it.
I could stand to use Mega Bright and Never A Dull Moment some more because I'm lazy, but I like them well enough that they don't irritate my skin. I like the spot treatment because it feels like it's actually working.
Anyone have recommendations for blonde shampoo? I use the Redken Blonde Idol but I feel like it's making my hair really meh.
How makeup is made is so fascinating to watch. If I had more money, I'd probably end up spending it at Lush but now I'm OK with philosophy and Origins.
I have been reunited with UD 24/7 liquid liner and it feels so good! Last year instead of repurchasing I decided to look for something cheaper. It was all garbage and with what I spent on cheaper alternatives I should've just bought the real deal. I have been using Stila's liquid liner and I liked it, but I'm much happier with UD. It's way more precise than anything else I've used. Nothing else gives me such nice lines with as much control.
Both UD and Stila are on my list of liquid liners to try! But I'm current stuck on the Kat Von D train, I love her liner so much
I like her liner but I hate how I can't tell how much is left. Once I was using it and it just ran out with no warning and I was in the middle of one eye lol. Stila is great because it's so dark and dramatic. Blackest liner I've used. But ultimately precision is most important to me so UD won out!
yo this shampoo has worked wonders for me and has done exactly what it's saying it does it's also vegan and sulfate free so yeah.
yo we should do face of the days/makeup looks posts here. be cool to see. also, i'm oddly obsessed with red/maroon tones on my eyes which i was under the impression would make me look like i had an eye infection for the longest time but then i saw a girl on instagram with it and i was like yes plz! @Alexa keikolynn.com thebeautydepartment.com
I hate how good Jeffree Star's makeup line is because it's Jeffree Star plus nothing is ever in stock plus the packaging is super ugly but I can't believe I don't own Unicorn Blood and it's in stock when I'm broke
Kpop male artists made me become fascinated by make up and hair. Idk where to start, but I'm enthusiastic.
I feel this so much. 2007 me would never believe that I'd love something with his name on it tbh But I'm also dying to try out Unicorn Blood ugh
