I love the mufe one. I've used it nearly every day for two years and I've barely made a dent in the jar. Def worth the price to me. I use the besame lavendar/violet brightening powder stuff too. I mix it with the mufe one for ultimate flawlessness Edit: I guess 2 years is long to keep it lol. I swear I'm not gross!
Would anyone have any recommendations for products with a similar hold and texture as Redken Work Hard Molding Paste? Its pretty much the only product I've found that does what I want for my hair. Since I've moved to a smaller town I can't find it in stores, and prices seem to just keep going up and up for it online. I've tried the Redken Mess Around 10 Creme and its decent, but doesn't quite have the hold I need. Also, the scent of that stuff attracts mosquitoes like crazy. I wore it at the beach once and left with a head covered in itchy bites. I've also tried the Style Sexy Hair Shaping Creme but it has terrible hold and also smells like a department store fragrance section.
I use Make Up Forever HD's finishing powder as a setting powder.....which I looooove because it has a super fine finish BUT I also have very light coverage with my foundation (I use smashbox BB water) so if you like to go a little bit heavier with your makeup, this might not be the best choice
Thanks, y'all! I think I'll try out the MUFE then. Also LOL, @Kiana. No judgements here girl, I have some stuff that's two years+ too, oops
My favorite powder is the Bye Bye Pores from It Cosmetics. It's not too too pricy. I've been trying to find drugstore alternatives like NYX and L'Oreal, but truly the Bye Bye Pores is my favorite. It blurs and keeps me matte.
SO glad I looked through my old car before before I let my mom put it up for sale! My 2 Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani lipsticks (ex-girlfriend and Rock Steady) I've been looking for for weeks were in there. Somehow they ended up in a box meant for stuff for the salvation army! I bought another UD x GS lipstick (Firebird) recently too. I love that they're slightly cheaper than the Revolution lipsticks and I really like the packaging a lot.
in hs I wanted bleached hair like Madonna but my hair is super dark and it just wouldn't work with my coloring at all. So glad I didn't. I dyed it like every other color in existence tho. Looking back it was cute and fun but didn't actually look great lol
I use to dye my hair bright red and it looked awesome but between how fast my hair grows and how quickly red fades I was having to get it re-dyed every 2-3 weeks and it was crazy expensive. The rose gold will be cool because when it fades it won't look strange or anything, it'll just look blonde-ish. I'm hesitant to do anything really fun and out there color wise because my hair just grows way too fast
Yeah the blue I was going to do was going to start on the 2nd layer since my hair grows so fast but work put the breaks on that real quick. Rose gold is going to be so badass.
I'm so excited. It's probably still a few months away because I can't have it with my current job situation. But the minute I can quit, I'm going straight to get it done. I can't wait
I also use to dye my hair bright red, everyone loved it, my parents hated it. My hair also would grow fast and it fade so I was touching up the color every month. My hair has also been blue, I've bleached it because I wanted to dye it silver but never found silver dye, so it would be a brown and now its black and has been black for maybe 6-7 months, which is the longest I had my hair a color close to my natural color.
I thought about curling my hair in the AM..then I saw the burn mark on my knuckle that is starting to fade and thought better of it.
I totally caved and took advantage of Sephora's 15% off for VIB's. I got: - Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash (running out of my current one so I needed a replacement) - Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay (because why not) - MUFE HD Microfinish Powder (thanks y'all) - MUFE 250 Extra Fine Eyeliner Brush - BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone (because mine literally shattered months ago and I've been powering through, it was time.) ugh my bank account
I want a Becca skin perfector so bad but it's hard for me to pull the trigger. I'm jealous of your purchases. I wanted a full size origins charcoal mask but Im gonna wait on it. I only ended up with an urban decay 24/7 liquid eyeliner but it's my fave and I've been without for a year so I'm excited
The skin perfector is such a great product, honestly it's totally worth it! As for the charcoal mask, I bought it a while ago and it's lasted so long. Plus, it's wonderful. I'm a sucker for Origins skincare clearly
Try an ointment, like aquaphor. May be a bit greasy but ointments help more than lotions and cream. Ointments are more occlusive and trap the water in your skin better.
I get red marks on my nose and it takes a few hours for it to go away after taking them off. I have extremely sensitive skin though. If you don't and your ears are irritated as well, there might be an issue there. Maybe something in the material or fit.
Yeah I have a little deluxe sample of the charcoal mask and it's last a long time! So I think it's a worthy investment. But with the 15% off I only saved $3 on it anyway so I'm gonna wait until they're giving out some good deluxe samples to tack on my order before I buy. I need to renew my free flash shipping anyway. Good to know BECCA is worth it. It's one of those things that are so ~luxurious to me that I'll probably only buy it if someone gives me a giftcard lol
That's so smart, I don't really order online from them often so I never noticed that they gave such sweet deluxe samples. I usually only see like perfume samples and shit. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out!!
Hey, if some of you are into this sort of this, this is a good read about greenwashing and what labels like "organic" and "natural" on cosmetic/beauty brands really means. When every brand seems to be trying to promote a "natural" product these days, I thought it was interesting. Greenwashing: The Many Meaningless Claims in the Cosmetics Industry - Beautycounter
