Nothing like falling in the bowl and hearing a kid on a scooter tell you “You didn’t make it” while you’re lying on the concrete
Don’t know if you guys are into snowboarding (I used to snowboard before my family moved far away from any mountains), but this is a movie I love: Trailer Full Movie
late reply here, but snowboarding is my first love, and the little skating I do is just to satisfy that urge.
I need some advice. I’m thinking of starting again. I bought a skateboard about 10 years ago, used it a few hours, and since then it has been mostly collecting dust in our shed. Do you guys think it is still usable? And does it need maintenance after so long? I know nothing about that stuff. Thanks.
In my mid 20's I used my old board that was prob 8 years old and just sitting in the garage, I had no issue. If there is no visible damage to it, most likely it should be good to go. I watched the Tony Hawk doc on HBOMAX yesterday, it was awesome. Rodney Mullen is the coolest motherfucker on this planet.
if anything, you might need to oil up the bearings so just check that the wheels are still spinning smoothly
Depends on how picky you are. The wood of the deck might be warped after that long due to temperature changes through the seasons. Trucks and wheels are probably fine, bearings are the other thing I’d check just in case any dust or anything gums them up. But if the wheels roll and the wood is in one piece then that’s probably fine
