I used to buy a new deck once a month lol. I remember riding blind, foundation, girl, chocolate, popwar, alien workshop, habitat, baker, flip, and right now I have a primitive deck
may wanna ditch that Primitive board…Chris Cole has been skating at PRod’s park as recently as last week..
I think my boards were Element and Enjoi. When it comes to clothing I wore and still wear a lot of different ones. I was big on LRG when they were new. Not really a skate brand I think, but it was sold mostly in skateshops here.
Wore a lot of DC and Vans shoes. Maybe a pair of Osiris once. Pretty much got all my clothes from Pac Sun and was super excited when Zumiez finally came to my area
Vans is still my go-to shoe brand. Used to wear Chucks as a teen and in my early 20s but my feet became too wide lol
I've become boring as an adult and just wear cheap, plain colored t shirts with no logos like Fruit of the Loom or George from Walmart, and the cheapest pair of sneakers I can find from Walmart lol. My current sneakers cost me like 15 bucks.
I also went through tons of shoe brands back in the day. DVS was one of my favorites (skate more is a fantastic video Kerry Getz part is legendary and Steve Berra even tho he’s a Scientologist and people got mad he “faked” street spots like the Allstate sign was a prop he put there but still he had to do the tricks) these days I just wear slip on vans tho. Nike SB also has some good shoes used to use
Yeah pac sun was my go to. I was long gone from the scene by the time Zumiez came around but I did buy a longboard there years ago
we’re finally getting a skatepark in my hometown. someone started a can drive for it back in probably 2008 or so, right after I graduated high school. our local ski hill got a new marketing manager a few years back, and her first summer in town she re-invigorated the campaign, and they’re finishing up the concrete work this week! super excited.
my shoes were also Nike SB Janikowskis my decks were always plan b and my trucks were always the grenade one my shirts were always dc, krew or enjoi
Royal was my go to truck brand, but tensor and independent were good too. Didn’t care about wheels usually just rode blanks. Lucky bearings. Right now I got grizzly grip tape with the little bear cut out below the nose to the right
I have a super faded enjoy shirt that Lil B signed in 2011 but the signature is faded and the shirt doesn’t fit and is also faded lol
Spitfire formula 4s are the only wheel these days. Proud to say I learned to Treflip at the age of 33 years old:
