now that i finished the leftovers, i think i might start this next.

 

Two very different shows (with the exception of one singular amazing episode) but both incredible. I wish I could experience this show for the first time again. These characters really felt like family by the end of it and this really does have the all-time best series finale.

 

I just finished this show for the first time. I have a feeling that I’ll be thinking about it for a while. Fully ugly sobbed throughout the last 15 mins of the finale, thankful that my fiancé let me cry on him lmao

fave characters: David, Claire, Ruth
most impactful storyline: George

and I’ve always loved Rachel Griffiths, she’s a national treasure here in Australia, so watching her as Brenda was fantastic

 

I can’t watch that end-sequence without ugly crying. Sometimes I watch it on Youtube just to reproduce the effect lol
