I absolutely adored this. I had high expectations and it still blew me away. I had seen people mentioning that scene in the middle but I was not prepared for how transcendent it would actually be. The ending/mid credits scene was also brilliant and the entire cast was fantastic. One of my favourite scores in recent memory too. I've loved every film he's made so far but this is easily his best work and although I'm sure he'll do a great job with Black Panther 3/X Files, I really hope he makes a permanent switch to original stuff soon. Also this was the first film I've ever seen in IMAX and I'm really glad I drove the extra 40 mins for it.
There’s not a ton of competition next week. Don’t know if people seeing Accountant II are the same audience as this.
Loved this. That dance sequence everyone is praising is indeed an all timer. Ludwig cooked once again.
such bullshit to see a massive pub like variety carry water for zaslav to try and bury a unanimous hit
Loved this. Went to a matinee yesterday since we had nothing going on. So glad I saw this in a good theater. Loud as hell and on a big ass screen as intended.
The trades are doing the bidding of tech CEOs that have gamified Hollywood - and movies need to be dead because it’s easier for them to be just greenlighting bankable IP slop. Original movies having success goes against this cynical theory they have about audiences - which god forbid anyone in power is proven wrong about anything
