This is the first movie in a while where I’m dying to see opening night but I can’t watch until Tuesday at the earliest
Yeahhhh that rocked. A couple scenes that blew me away (one in particular tho) and the music is so, so good. Also campier than I expected!
Yeah it’s gonna be hard to this movie to be topped as favorite of the year for me. I can’t see anything else affecting me the way this did. also that one scene. Lmfao Jesus Christ. Give Coogler all the roses.
This was incredible. So fun and cool. Loved it even more than I expected, tbh. Easily best thing Coogler has made; hope it’s indicative of his career after knocking out one more Marvel.
Assuming you are talking about the scene I think you are, I completely agree. My jaw literally dropped at the audacity of it lol.
Yeah, this was a wild one. Definitely the most movie of 2025. But very good. And I totally bought Jordan was two different characters. Like, damn, that was seamless. A lot to unpack in this. Might have to see it again. Sadly, got stuck with a bad audience. Had a group of girls in front of me that talked through the first 15 minutes until a guy in my row literally said “Shut the fuck up!” Then there was a couple that talked through the entire movie. Like, all 2 hours and 17 minutes. I do not understand how these people exist. Made me very glad the movie was mostly loud as hell.
Fuck, man. Here I am getting emotional during a movie about vampires. This was amazing. The past/future dance was wild. Every actor brought their a-game. my only nitpick is that I would have liked if it showed what happened to the daughter that worked at the store. I take it that she lived, but did Sammie ever check on her? lol The Rod Wave song is so much better after watching this
apparently i missed a post-credits scene? can someone please spoil that for me? i saw the mid-credits scene but then the lights came on so I assumed that was it. i also missed the first five minutes of the movie because i was getting popcorn assuming there would be trailers beforehand but apparently not
The mid-credits scene is essential. I also left before the final end-credits but that just sounds like a nice to have rather than a must see part.
One thing I really liked was it zagging when you think it’s gonna zig. When Hailee Steinfeld turns and kills Stack, I thought it would be about Smoke getting revenge. I also thought Preacher Boy was gonna turn the water to holy water in his showdown with the Irish devil. Both would have super expected and kind of dumb.
