From Matt Singer’s Letterboxd review: https://boxd.it/9n5zff “It is simple enough to say a movie is suspenseful, but how do you quantify how suspenseful it is? Here is one way. Ryan Coogler’s new film Sinners generates so much suspense — and then sustains it for so long — that at one particularly anxious point I heard a small snap from my seat. I looked down and realized I had tensed up and squeezed my notebook so hard that I cracked its back cover.”
It's the week of Sinners being released and in my home city at my local Odeon.. there's still only one screening of it at 8:30pm for opening weekend and this a original studio film, written and directed by Ryan Coogler, starring Michael B. Jordan, getting really good reviews and they have not added any more early to mid afternoon times at all.. I been in touch and they have no clue what's going on about more times have been added yet.. Warfare has more show times than this!
Most likely, but I am from the UK and Warfare has more showtimes than Sinners.. both films being released this Friday over here.. never thought that an a24 film would have more showtimes in my home city than an big WB film
Not sure where you live, but my local theaters often don’t update their whole schedule until Wednesday, unless it’s a huge franchise movie with a ton of presale tickets or something. I’d bet yours will add more showings by midweek. Right now mine do have some Sinners showings, but it’s literally just that and the Minecraft move and a Neil Young documentary lol. And obviously there will be more options than that.
They said that the showtimes will be updated tomorrow at 5pm UK time so hopefully more show times will be added
