“Plotted like an Avengers movie” so it’s just plotted like a big budget blockbuster which it basically is?

 

I don’t think that’s what they mean even though I don’t agree with them

 

THEY dont even know what they mean!!!! they're just saying stuff hoping someone else goes

 

It's definitely a movie filled with tropes and one that doesn't subvert expectations in terms of how it's going to play out, but these tropes existed way before Marvel. Like Tetra though, I have not seen enough of those movies to see the connection outside of how it kinda looks like shit. Does everyone talk about oral all the time in Marvel movies?

Unfortunately not, but two characters once had incredibly boring sex.

 

They do constantly keep shoe horning in scenes of delta blues though like I thought this movie was supposed to take place in sokovia

 

The lack of romance in Marvel movies is funny because as a kid I remember the love interests were such a big part of the Batman movies.

Gwen Stacy and the daughter of my favorite app developer have never talked about oral to my knowledge

 

The Asian mum letting the vampires in was stupid. Cliched lazy trope writing that they needed to advance the plot. they knew it was dumb so we also got a bunch of scenes telegraphing how much mum loves her family which is the least interesting way to address the problem.

don’t know if any of that is Marvel coded but it’s bad plot writing
