I had to wait a while for the local dvd store to get in its shipments, but I was able to pick up the steelbook. Excited to watch it again
To say "I was supposed to be in that" when he really just was called in for an audition is hilarious.
Finally got around to seeing this. Was worried the hype was going to be difficult to overcome but this ruled so hard. The music and score made it for me. Great film.
Back watching this, back to saying it is very ugly to watch (so far). I know the music scene changes things
I’ve seen it twice. I don’t remember it looking bad. Once was in the theater though so that’s always gonna look better.
I haven’t seen this since theaters, but I don’t remember the structure being that specifically “Marvel”-y. Maybe the finale being an escalation into a set piece, but that’s a normal big genre thing to do? Or maybe the use of a “credits scene,” but like, I thought that was an effect pacing tool for an epilogue that wasn’t really quite how most Marvels do it. Wouldn’t mind a thoughtful breakdown on how else that seemed like the case to someone.
i don't agree with that take regarding the writing or plotting at all but it is obviously apparent in just how the movie looks
