Last album was super underrated, can't wait for this one

Fuck yes. I've been looking forward to this for a while, the singles and EP they released weren't bad, but they felt a little like stopgaps between albums to me.

Never heard of these guys before but I enjoyed this track in a weird way. Vocals remind me of Max Bemis at times but I think they're just different enough to not affect my listening experience

Weird I just finally listened to this this morning

 

i listened yesterday and im hooked. was kinda putting it off because i wasn't into the last one but this is great.

 

Yeah I love it.

 

This album is really clicking with me and I can't wait to see them when they come through with Touche. Gonna be a riot.

 

revisiting this and can't overstate how amped on it i am... easily their best.

only song i dont vibe with is people are pets, but everything else rages.

bolt cutters is such an ace closer too

 

They have the best melodic closers

 

I was totally out of the loop and didn't even know they released this. Three songs in and it's killing.

Also apparently the new bassist for The Dirty Nil recorded on this.

 

this record is fucking nuts. its been hitting me so hard lately.

 

I gotta check this out, loved the last one. I keep forgetting it's out, it's been super under the radar it feels like

How does it compare to the last LP?

 

A bit less on the heavy side but nothing too drastically different. If anything it's catchier throughout without necessarily being poppier, if that makes sense.

 

Closer to the melodic parts of the older EPs then? Or Money from the last one? That sounds interesting. It might be like the meltdown ep too but I only remember the title track off the top of my head

 

There's definitely a couple tracks in the middle of Our Pleasure that are quite reminiscent of the structure of Money, length of the songs, down tempo, while still delivering a lot of intensity.

 

Would have been interested in this in maybe 2013? Got some bad tattoos that year too.
