I watched Once for the first time last night. That was a great movie too. “Falling Slowly” deserved the Oscar and it makes me wonder why nothing from this movie got any academy recognition

 

This film is incredible. Loved pretty much everything about it.

 

I still listen to the soundtrack at least once every couple weeks

 

It baffles me how good these songs are as extensions of the characters, as a way to further the narrative, and as wicked fuckin tunes

 

This movie became a Top 5 of all-time for me after my last viewing. I sing Drive It Like You Stole It on a regular basis. That scene in particular is so masterful in the way it makes me feel intense joy and sadness simultaneously. "Happy-sad." :)

 

Yeah this still absolutely rules and the music is perfect

very excited! I was looking to go to the workshop version, but read in reviews that it needs to shore up the second half and some of the acting/pacing fell flat. Hoping they fix the issues before opening, I think it could be a hit if done right

 

this movie still has the best soundtrack ever

 

Just finished watched this for the 5th or 6th time. Still flawless.
