Simple Plan Announce Prime Video Documentary

    Simple Plan announced over the weekend that they’ll be part of an upcoming Prime Video documentary.

    The movie will follow Simple Plan’s formation in Montreal in the late 1990s and the band’s early success, featuring never-before-seen archival footage and fresh interviews with the musicians and their contemporaries.

    Excited for this. I remember Pierre mentioning something previously on Joel Madden's podcast. Wonder how they will handle stuff with David and everything.

    They may legitimately be one of the five most “entertaining” live bands this scene has ever produced.

    They bring their A-game and crowd engagement to every single performance. I’ve been lukewarm on the last few records and I still buy tickets when they come here because I know I’m gonna get a SHOW. The crowd response at WWWY looked no different. In an age when records don’t sell and streams don’t pay the bills, these guys figured out live shows and merch was gonna be their sustainability play and it looks like it’s still working.

    I look forward to seeing this.
