Wish I liked this project more. We'll see if that changes with the other songs they haven't released.

    Interesting venue choices.

Side note: Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge should do a project together.

They attempted to in 2011 but everyone was butthurt that it didn't sound like Blink 182 circa-1999.

Yeah that didn't go too well but I don't feel like it's blink without Tom. Not that its terrible or anything without him but I just view them as a different band. I never really realized how much Tom meant to the band until he left. The last album was okay but was missing something imo.

I think the bigger thing people didn't take into account for is that there is a BIG difference from where most people are at 27-31 to 34-39 and people expecting them to back to goofy sloppy pop-punk were not going to be satisfied. I actually quite like Neighborhoods as I enjoy records where there is a certain amount of tension and even over-thought to them. California felt like a b(r)and engaging in fan service and having an excuse to go out on the road.

Yup, I like neighborhoods a lot more than California
