Wow finally listened to Thanks, I Hate It and it's another banger

 

I missed the leak but I like both songs from the second EP so far.

 

So I put together the EP’s to try and make an album. I actually like The Wolf as the opener because NVM has similar lyrical themes of crying wolf.

Only started getting into this band 2 days ago and I'm in love with it

Can we just talk about how Ether and How To Live might be some of the best songs Mark or Alex have ever been a part of? Too good.

The entire second EP leaked on Youtube last month. This is the official rollout.

 

One Little Lie was also one of the songs that they hadn't released that they played on their first run of shows. That and NVM.

 

I don't think One Little Lie sounds different enough from ATL or blink to be a part of this team-up but that's just my opinion. Their first EP sounded unique compared to their past works. This just sounds like All Time Low with Owl City mixed in

It's a fine song tho, just not liking it as much as the last EP

 

After first listen I'm liking this EP better than the first one by alot

I liked the first one a lot more. The first felt less like their other bands and was refreshing, but I need to give this new one a closer listen. The songs are still pretty good and I really like Thanks I Hate It

 

Seriously, this has been one of the best creative years for Mark Hoppus in who knows how long. And thats by no means a drag- I think he's done great work. But to think we got Nine, and these two EP's that simultaneously tread the line of Deja Vu and something entirely original, I couldn't be happier. This is a killer project. One Little Line/Adrenaline/Pin the Grenade are some of the best songs he's put out since +44.

There shall be no other takes.

I enjoyed Strange Love quite a bit but I definitely prefer Everything Opposite. One Little Lie & NVM are easily my favorite SC tracks so far.

 

You should just hurt “Adrenaline”s feelings. Shame on you!
