One Little Lie and NVM were my standouts. Not digging this EP as much as the first but it’s still enjoyable.

Lol I'm the opposite. I like this EP way more than the first. The first one did absolutely nothing for me for some reason.

  3. Both EPs are very good, with Drug being the weakest song.

I think these Simple Creatures songs were all recorded at the same time, and spilt over 2 EP’s, right?

Also, although the songs can be a little silly, it’s meant to be a fun side project. It’s like a triple bonus of material to Nine.

The more I listen to NVM the more it gives me major Metro Station vibes. Not a dig at all, I looooved MS debut album, and really love/dig “The Love That You Let Die” and “Young Again” off their most recent release (which are the two songs NVM kinda reminds me of)

Sad the EP isn’t just released yet. I want it on Apple Music.

    Album is so catchy!
Seventeen Forever, Control, Kelsey, True To Me, California, and disco are certified bops.

Always been surprised by the lack of love in this community.

I got a lot of people into that album back in high school

  16. I think the first EP fell flat cause they didn't really know what they wanted to sound like. This EP feels more confident and cohesive.

I thought all the songs were recorded around the same time?

  18. Initially, yes. But Special (at least) was recorded like right before it came out (I don't remember when, I think Alex said in an interview it was less than a week) so I'm assuming some of the other songs might have been finished later.

I guess they could have tweaked or added more too with time for EP. Didn’t know that Special was worked on later.

I’m good with both eps and so far they seem equally enjoyable to me. I

Well, at least NVM and One Little Lie were finished/mostly finished around the first EP

There's a lot of bands I love on that lineup (ADTR. violent Soho, enter Shikari, Slowly Slowly, RBF, Simple Creatures, The Veronicas), but man that festival seems like a sausage fest.

    Hoping for Simple Creatures/ES sideshows.

I enjoyed the first EP but I like Everything Opposite a lot more, especially NVM. Such a great song, knew I was going to love it when I saw the live videos of it.

Everything Opposite feels much more cohesive as a project than Strange Love did. Sonically, thematically etc. Strange Love felt more disjointed, whereas this sounds more like Alex and Mark know what they want Simple Creatures to be.
