Really like the new song. Can't wait to hear the whole record.
I absolutely loved their first three albums, but Better Nature still doesn't have the same click with me as the others. Still like it though!

 

I really like Freakazoid. It's different than their previous songs but similar enough to still have that SSPU vibe. Looking forward to the entire album.

Overall, how is it? I know it's early but how would you compare to their previous albums?

 

First impression is it’s super solid , would put it above better nature fairly easily, maybe closely behind neck of the woods. First two are untouchable for me.

 

Can't wait to hear this. Seeing them twice next month with Meg Myers, which is a perfect lineup for me.

Very impressed by this on first listen. Whenever I listen to this band I remember I need to listen to them more, gotta actually follow up on that

 

need someone who agrees with me that better nature is their best to weigh in

 

I still think I'd put Swoon above it, but it's close for me. It's definitely been the one I most often gravitate towards first when I want to listen to some SSPU recently.

 

Can’t decide if I should listen to this or Cave In first on my morning commute tomorrow. Also haven’t heard a single song released from WW so I’m even more pumped.

 

Gonna be sinking into this after this Stanley Cup Final post game show ends.

 

Opener is ace

 

Don't Know Yet is great. My favorite so far on first listen.

 

Straw Man is great too

 

We Are Chameleons is a great closer.

Also really dug Widow's Weeds and Simpatico as well.

 

Neon Wound and Straw Man are my lifeblood right now.
