Album’s got me on a nice Silverstein kick. If You Could See Into My Soul is a standout for me, always loved that song.
Yea the guitars are so much cleaner, can actually appreciate a lot of things I didn’t pay attention to before.
I still hate re-recording the ASITS songs because I still think that album sounds so good lol. The other songs are fun though even if I feel they've done 10 versions of Call it Karma by now.
Maybe it's because I haven't heard this songs in a while, but most of the redux album didn't seem all that much different than the originals. It's certainly is clearer, but it sounded more like a remaster than a re-recording/re-working of the songs. That being said, it's basically a greatest hits and every songs on it slaps. I loved listening to it and remembering how much I like this band despite not listening to them all that often anymore. Which songs are the most noticeably different than the originals?
Holy shit. I can't say I've really given Silverstein the time of day since ASITS... this Redux sounds so great, I'm gonna need to jump into their recent stuff. Any suggestions of where to start post-ASITS?
You have your answer. Your duty now is to listen to This is how The Wind Shifts and Dead Reflection and then report back with your thoughts.
