I was actually talking about how I'd love for them to do something like this when I saw them last, largely because Shane has improved tenfold.

 

Do Shipwreck songs even need to be re-recorded?

Vices still sounds great too. Pre-Shipwreck does sound dated so I really get why they're doing this and it is the whole first ten years thing, but I would prefer they re-recorded more Pre-Shipwreck songs rather than Shipwreck songs

 

The re-recorded Vices better still have Liam Cormier guest vocals.

 

Honestly I've been getting back into this band lately after a long time away. I may have to pick up that record cus it's unlikely I ever get around to buying all 4 of those records. Though I definitely have to get Shipwreck In the Sand someday.

 

Dead Reflection sounds FANTASTIC on vinyl just FYI

Haha I have listened I just need to listen more! It was good. Cut me some slack I’ve just rediscovered Shipwreck after several years I need to spend some time with that!

 

This is really cool but I kinda wish it was just the first album redone. Oh well, still cool.

 

So looking forward to Still Dreaming acoustic. Their acoustics never disappoint for me.

Weird we still haven’t gotten a song and we’re a week out.

 

I was wondering when we would get a song, but then it's basically a rerecorded greatest hits album from the first 4 albums, so I don't know if they really need to release one early. We all know those songs already and I don't think they will be changed much apart from just sounding better.

 

Very true. I hope everything’s ready to go with this being their first self-release.

 

I believe April 12 is when they're going to start releasing music from it.
