I'd prefer earlier shows in general, but really I just wish more venues were transparent about set times. I've been to so many shows where it says "Doors at 6, Show at 7" - I show up at 7 and the show actually started at 6:30, or it doesn't start until 8. Then I've seen shows where it says "Show at 8" and there will be 4-5 local openers that were never listed anywhere and the headliner (the only act advertised) doesn't go on until midnight.
So much fun last night!!! It was a treat to see WBIEF live with all the improvements they’ve made in their sound and performance in the 15 years since. The violin guy was a nice addition to the overall sound too. I think it would be great to keep that guy around beyond this tour. I didn’t spoil the hits set for myself beyond their hints at playing certain songs on Twitter. Finally seeing California and Texas Mickey was a dream. I really hope I go to the second leg now.
I saw them in Atlanta over a week ago when i was visiting a friends there and as awesome as it was i couldn't shake the feeling that i want to see it again so i am going again in Chicago next week. Opportunities like these are rare
If I had gotten tickets for LA tonight it would have been my fourth show in as many nights (I’m going to a show tomorrow too lol). Luckily they’ll be back in San Diego in January so I most likely will trek down there next month.
Ya they were great last night. It's awesome that they still sound this good after all these years. Really glad I've gone to the DTW anniversary tour and this one. It was also cool to see Hawthorne Heights. Never got to see them back in the day.
IIRC they were playing a song or two more at the start of the tour but cut some for time constraints according to their twitter
If anyone's looking for a ticket for tonight I'm selling one! Looking for $20 but I'll take a little less too. Can transfer via ticketmaster or send a screenshot of the mobile ticket
According to setlist.fm they've been cutting the reissue bonus tracks from set one so they can add Call It Karma & Retrograde to the greatest hits set.
