I loved that re-recording, but I understand why they don't want to do that with the rest of the songs. Hear Me Out was definitely my favorite listening to this record in early high school at the height of my teenage angst.

 

Agreed on the screams, but I love all the clean guitar they use too, so many catchy intros. Makes me wanna put the album higher.

 

Secret's Safe/Whiplash/Wake Up is now my closing section of any of their records.

 

Might be mine as well eventually, though Already Dead/Three Hours Back/Call it Karma and A Hero Loses Everyday/The Tide Raises Every Ship/The End are gonna be tough to usurp.

 

I have no idea what mine would be. Didn't realize how good they were at closing albums.

 

Mines DTW just for Call It Karma. Three Hours Back is my least favourite on that album though.

 

Yeah I never really thought about it honestly but the last songs on all their albums now that I think about it are incredible

 

I don't think you get to 17 years/9 Albums as a band without having something to show for it.

Give me a Silverstein set where they play the last 1-3 songs of each album

What would everyone's choices be for most underrated Silverstein songs?

For me it'd be:

Always and Never
A Hero Loses Everyday
Replace You
Hide Your Secrets
Je me Souviens

 

Agree with all those. I'd add:
Quite literally everything on A&D, no bad song on that album
Good luck with your lives - don't know how this isn't a fan favorite

ASITS - I Knew I Couldn't Trust You, You're All I Have, A Hero Loses Every Day
Rescue - Intervention, Texas Mickey
SS - La Marseillaise, Sos
TIHTWS- With Second Chances, In Silent Seas We Drown
IAAIEIT - In The Dark

 

Definitely forgot "My Disaster" on my list. I can't believe that's not a staple in their set.

 

Just dropping in to say that this has been in repeat since it dropped. So good. And I agree that last 3 song stretch is gold. Secrets safe has become maybe my favorite on the album.

 

3rd or 4th listen through....The Afterglow might be the catchiest song Silverstein has ever written in my opinion.

 

Yea this album is really solid. Will fit in nicely with their discgography.

It absolutely is

 

Really enjoying the new album. I don't expect a lot of change in Silverstein albums, but they always hit a spot for me.

 

Toronto (unabridged) is the best Silverstein song and also the most underrated

 

I wouldn't say best but it is very good and underrated.

 

The ending breakdown in With Second Chances makes me want to jump out of a moving car. In a good way.
