the singles from this left a really bad taste in my mouth but i randomly heard whiplash the other day and really enjoy it, maybe i should give this a fair shake

I think retrograde is easily the worst song on the album (though I still like it), but the records got some pretty heavy pop influence too so that’s worth noting.

 

This record slays

 

unfuckingbelievable consistency is the Silverstein brand

 

maybe a weird take but my favorite part of this album is that they toned down their traditional riffing style a bit; not a huge fan of that pseudo-metal style that kicks off what feels like most of their singles.

 

This album gets me through almost anything.

Listened during my 10 mile run yesterday and it just gets me going. What an album.
