I've only met Shane once, and very briefly, but you can tell he's a guy who really loves his band and what he does. Underrated songwriter too.
Anyone going to the Fall tour in November? I'm gonna try to go to the November 19th date, the direct support for that show hasn't been announced yet, but if it's good I'll probably skip out on the Halsey tour to see it. Sucks that it's 21+ though. (I'm probably the only person on this forum who's favorite artists include both Silverstein and Halsey)
Doesn't come anywnere near me but I'll be at self help fest. Haven't seen these guys since wind shifts came out.
I'll be going to the November 3rd date in Quebec City. I have almost never missed them when they came here in the last 4-5 years. Can't wait to hear these songs live!
I'll be there, super stoked for creeper as well and to see Silverstein in such a small venue. Direct support is most likely seaway, they're opening the rest of the dates and the direct support is being announced right after they play with four years strong. Also it's 18+ not 21+.
Yes! Oh man that was a great show. Was also the day I first heard of and came to really dislike issues lol
Also, my ex has a terrific photo of water street she took for a photography class and I always wanted it to frame it but never got around to asking for it before we broke up. Still really want it. RIP
Once the linking park bracket is done we'll be doing a Silverstein one in their thread for anyone interested! Talking about the discography now to get things going.
this album is so good dang, I didn't realize they got this heavy! lines up perfectly with my own change in tastes
I spoke too soon hahaha I love Shane's ear for melody but would give anything for an album with very few clean vox, their heavier moments are just far more interesting
Normally I’d agree but they proved they can do it right on Dead Reflection. This is a weird thing to say about one of my favorite bands but I think they’re pretty bad at writing riffs and should ditch the awkward metal-y sounding ones. The lack of them on DR is one reason I like it so much, though I guess most people love the “signature Silverstein” sound.
