Yeah, idc, I've always loved Silverstein and I love this haha. Always happy when they drop new music.

Only thing that ever grinds my gears with any band.. passing off a song under two minutes.

especially on an 8 track album

 

Mercy Mercy is pretty cool!

Stress is probably their worst track ever, even worse than Bankrupt.

 

this rips per usual, now i just need my physical copies to be sent! i ordered a shirt but my size sold out within my order placed in November til now :(

stress aint my jam but ima be honest after these last two albums nothing even crossed my mind here as the bottom of their barrel and that enough is a good sign lmao. confession is my clear least favorite and that song is mostly just boring to me

after running this again a little fight flew by me at first but that song is great. i dig that they kept it pretty short too, nice seeing them experiment w different durations and song structures a lil bit again

 

I was just about to comment that Stress is my favourite song on here after the first listen and then I looked at the comments above

IDK if anything will top Dead Reflection for me though.

 

Stress is very, very fun.

 

Stress goes hard. Was quickly my favorite on this as someone who loves heavier Silverstein lol.

 

Mercy Mercy is a helluva opener

 

I'm happy you guys like it, wish I could say the same. To me it sounds like a very simple and repetitive song with absolutely 0% creativity involved that was was written to please the kids because they like stuff "that goes hard".

Hate sounding negative though, and Mercy Mercy is a fantastic song. Also like Skin and bones a lot.

Wished they utilized their two guitar players more, there are very few leads throughout, and it often sounds like it's only one guitar playing. Hope Josh isn't degraded to pushing the play button for the electronic backtrack.

 

Loving the sequencing and the spoken word stuff throughout

 

All killer for me, I think the fact that it’s only 22 minutes makes it so listenable. Excited to hear Pink Moon later this year

Would like an Australian headline tour too please

 

Pretty good album over all! A Little Fight might be one of their worst songs ever tho.

Cherry Coke is a fun closer. Going to give it a few more spins today

"A Little Fight" is great. I don't think anything on here really comes close to their worst.

a little fight kinda reminds me that some
of the material on short songs absolutely demolishes, albeit very different stylistic takes on small packages than that song is

 

echoing the buzz about mercy mercy. insane track. unfortunately the rest of this falls kinda flat for me? feel like i need repeat listens. (and i LOVED misery made me so i was really looking forward to this)

 

I really hope they don’t release any songs off Pink Moon before it comes out. Highly doubtful

I say this because I still love listening to albums front to back and it's rough when half the songs have been out for months and I've played them into the ground. I love having that feeling of hearing something fresh and new. I think I would have REALLY loved this if I hadn't heard half of it before hand. And that is my stupid complaint of the day.

 

I love this. Easily their best in years imo.

 

Wish I liked this as much as other people, but glad most people seem to dig it.

 

After a couple listens there are some typical Silverstein tropes on this I don’t care for but overall I think it’s a really fun and fresh listen. Cherry coke is great.
