    Pumped for this but feel like the last record just came out and they didn’t get to do much with it because of Covid. Can’t believe it’s been 2 years already since their last

    Yeah not a fan of any of these singles. I’m happy the band is branching out and doing their own thing by going in a more mainstream rock direction, but this is not for me.

    Echoing the lack of capability to tour the last record. I love Silverstein but the lyrics on the recent singles and record seem disengenuine. I miss the lyrics that pour out emotion. That's what made Silverstein so great.

    Yeah the lyrics have gotten pretty meaningless to me. They should get thrashy with it and talk about some real shit

    I would have much much preferred a heavy turn for Silverstein than a poppy/radio friendly turn. These songs are lifeless and the lyrics are definitely quite generic.

    I mean this as a lifelong fan of the band, but I don’t think I’ve every really been blown away by their lyrics.

    From the video to the chugging, it reminds me of a person who heard “MANTRA” by BMTH and is now trying to build a cover version in Logic from memory.

    I still like it though!
