Surprised people had no idea Paak was a drummer! Afaik he plays drums on most of his records and spends like half the time behind a kit during shows

 

Paak's shows are so damn good, and yeah he spends a lot of the show behind the kit

 

His live show is what really took me from being a more casual fan to really loving him. One of the most high energy shows I've ever seen, and the band just sounds so good.

 

I remember seeing him the day Coloring Book leaked. Drove to the venue with it on thinking “wow this album is fire” and drove home from the venue with it on thinking “lol Chance could never”

 

had such a good time at the last paak tour

just a rapturous crowd that was intent on making sure the performers knew how much they were appreciating what they were doing on stage (which was of course paak being one of the most talented motherfuckers around and the free nationals putting other backing bands to shame)

outdoor amphitheater down on the river with big ol cargo ships going by behind the stage periodically on a beautiful night

gosh i’m tearing up i miss live music

 

Paak's shows are some of the best. The energy is infectious and the songs just open up and feel so much more expansive. I miss live music too
