Jared's line asking Dinesh if he's ever seen a naked dead body and then Kumail's reaction had me laughing for a really long time. Middleditch was fantastic in this episode too

I never got the hate for Gabe, he always made me laugh in The Office. Honestly not super different from this character

 

So basically they took five episodes to reset stuff

 

I know exactly what you mean.

 

Yep. I enjoyed the episode but this is mildly disappointing.

 

Almost every line Jared said was amazing

 

Jared is life

 

His line about his birthday and the naked dead body slaughtered me

 

"I've organized a lot of estate sales, so this is kind of my wheelhouse."

"What?!"

"I have a lot of elderly friends"

 

this season has been phenomenal

 

Have you ever seen a naked dead body ?

 

Jared is the fucking best

 

"The CPS Officer couldn't find my birth certificate."

 

"I found my biological father in a militia up in the Ozarks."

 

Yeah he's perfect. It's so subtle sometimes you almost miss the lines.

This has been the weakest episode for me. The weakest episode of this show is still incredible though.

It's crazy how the writers keep finding ways to give Richard hell. The show's just as funny as it's frustrating; wonder how long they can keep that up.

And yeah, Zach Woods' work here is superb.

 

Jared is on fire this season.

"This guy fucks!"

 

My only complaint, and it's very small because it's a comedy and I watch it to laugh, but the second he said "I know where the little conference room is" or whatever, I knew instantly that he was going to be talking to the wrong person.

 

Yeah it was pretty obvious

 

I didn't. I was about as high as Urlich when I watched it though.

 

I'm an idiot, I didn't figure it out even as he was ranting to the reporter.

 

I didn't realize it either

 

That surprises me. As soon as he walked in I knew what was happening.

 

Yeah, as soon as he interrupted her before she was able to introduce herself. And the fact that he got mad because the receptionist told him which room the PR person was in. And the comedic irony of Laurie revealing her real plan at the same time.

 

Seconding all the love for Jared, consistently killing it. It was nice for an episode to end well for once
