I thought this was another funny episode (though I'm not 100% sure I fully understood what happened at the end? Maybe I should have been paying a little more attention) but how in the hell is this ending next week? It feels like we're in the midseason and it also doesn't feel like a final season
I will forever respect this show for how they managed to find the exact perfect balance to make a character like Russ always enjoyable to watch as opposed to annoying as hell. Part of that is in Chris D’s flawless performance of course but the writing and the restraint to not always have him around is also important.
I will also say that I cannot believe they’re ending this next week. I thought there were two left for some reason. Is there going to be a time jump?
This season is fine but I’ll forever be mad at how they wasted Zach Woods in this truly awful Gwart subplot
Just caught up on the season and the Gwart thing sucks so bad. The guy-projects-everything-into-a-blank-slate gag is funny maybe for one scene if you do it right and they somehow decided to drag it out into a full season arc for one of their best characters. (Also Kumail is DISTRACTINGLY jacked now. Like, damn dude. Can I have your personal trainer’s number?)
Huge congrats to Josh Brener for cashing series regular paychecks the entire run of the show to show up in one scene every four episodes or so
lol at Jared mansplaining Dune to Monica "that was gendered wasn't it" Perd! the rats! Jared went to Vassar! why do they call you Bighead, boys being boys and my huge dong, it isn't because your last name is Bigetti of course Jian Yang faked his own death
