when I rewatched season 4 I found Erlich to be nowhere near as funny as I used to

Yeah I like(d) Erlich a lot but I didn't miss him this season at all

 

Yea I didnt miss him either. One thing I noticed more this season is how annoying Richard is though....

 

Yeah I'm glad they got rid of T.J. Miller when they did, good riddance. The show clearly didn't need him to still be as fantastic as ever.

 

Richard is annoying but he’s supposed to be so it doesn’t bother me. Dinesh was a little much this season which is a shame because Kumail is great.

 

Yeah I definitely think Kumail's newfound stardom with Big Sick boosted his role a lot this season instead of Starr's, and not always for the best

 

I honestly think Middleditch's insufferable Verizon commercials (that play almost every single commercial break during Football and Hockey games) has tainted him for me. I didn't enjoy richard much at all this season (other than kiss my piss).

 

Kid Detectives on Comedy Bang Bang makes up for it

Yeah, I saw that the other day and meant to post it here. He's the best.

 

I had to pause it because this made me cry with laughter for like 5 mins

 

Verizon isn’t even a carrier in my country somehow I still see this being played on TV.

really disappointing to hear, glad he's off the show (its better without him IMO anyway) but still disappointing.

laaaaaaame. i wonder what happened. i was just thinking about this show and am currently wearing my pied piper shirt haha.

 

i am however in support of this if it's to refresh and re-think the story and direction of the show, this past season was good i think but the typical "richard gets in over his head and his bone head ideals and stubbornness gets him in trouble but then gets magically bailed out and something silly happens to gavin" storyline that flows through each season is a little tired.

maybe just me, but idk.

 

Sounds like it’s just because Alec Berg is busy with Barry
