First few eps this season were total gold, but now it seems to be settling into the good-but-not-great tier of the past couple years. Thank god for Jared, though.

Seriously Jared is great.

 

Bighead and Jared with Fiona were both amazing

 

Actually gasped when the Fiona storyline ended. Holy fuck

 

My god man.

 

I lost it at Jared talking about taking Oxy to not get attached to the johns.

 

The smash cut from Richard saying Jared could visit Fiona at any time to her face being ripped off made me laugh out loud.

 

Richard annoys the shit out of me...ugh

 

Someone who's good at business please explain what a Series B is. Like I know it has to do with investing, but in the context of this episode is it potentially significant to the season or was it just a plot device for this one episode

 

Just means a second round of funding. Series A is the first round, B is second, and so forth.

 

Wasn't a big fan of this last episode. Didn't find it to be very funny or particularly interesting.

 

I liked Gavin Belson being outsmarted by an actual businessman rather than young and inexperienced "kids" for once.

 

While this wound up being wrong I will go on the record as saying I was also pulling for it to come true. Gavin/Jian-Yang would've been a solid combo.

 

Loved all of the Gavin stuff in this one. Matt Ross is a genius.

 

I was close enough mf. Gavin had been so separated from Pied Piper most of the season and they were building up Jian-Yang so much that I figured they'd at least cross paths

loving this season. needs way more Monica though.

 

I'm surprised how little I care that Erlich is gone

 

Really happy that it seems like Monica will FINALLY have a bigger role

 

Agreed. The scene in her office with Richard and Gilfoyle was hilarious.
