traveling to Iceland in a little under two weeks and I've been doing a discography run. Is this the best song ever written? It's in the running IMO. utterly transfixing.

 

Ughhhh. All my wife and I wanna do is go to Iceland.

 

we'd planned to go in 2020, but our flight was scheduled for literally a day after the travel ban was announced. we had to cancel last minute. luckily received vouchers which we're finally using. it's been a lifelong dream of mine to visit and I'm so fucking hyped

 

New Jonsi album out today

 

whoa I’m only two tracks in but this is really good

 

it's so good, feels like a blend of Riceboy Sleeps and Go Do vibes

 

to be honest, I didn't really care for it. Felt like an orchestral soundtrack to something I haven't seen and didn't really feel much of the Jonsi touch on it

 

It seemed extremely Jonsi to me! There were plenty of moments where I fully expected to hear him.

 

yeah I got more classic Jonsi/Sigur Ros vibes from this than I did with Obsidian (and even Shiver)

 

Saw them last night with The Wordless Orchestra, unbelievable show as always. Teared up a few times. Transcendently beautiful stuff
