It's a damn shame that as far as I can tell, the band refuses to play Hoppipolla live anymore. Apparently they have issues with how the was used in UK movies and TV without their permission.

 

Which ironically enough is how I discovered the band. I forever have that song tied to the grim hope of the film Children of Men.

Takk was my intro to the band, and that song was definitely a standout, along with Glosoli

 

"Svefn-G-Englar" is a perfect song/the perfect introduction to this band. All of Agaetis Byrjun, really.

But yeah, a new mix was released for Planet Earth II, but they haven't performed the song live since 2013.
