Great news. I'm ready for it.

 

Just now discovering this, but it's great.

 

I still come back to this regularly and it’s still wonderful. One of my favorite pop albums ever at this point tbh

 

Weird that this got bumped while I was listening to it for the first time in a few months

 

I’m listening to it on vinyl haha that’s what prompted the post

 

I am with you. My wife and I took a drive yesterday with this blasting out. Perfect in the sunshine.

 

This album is fantastic and I don't know how I slept on it last year

Honestly I missed out on a lot of albums last year I feel like so now I'm going back and checking out everything I missed.

 

now's certainly a good time to do it. Check out Tove Styrke's Sway if you haven't before, same vibes as Sigrid but different. Then if you want more Norwegian gold, Anna of the North's album from last year is also fantastic (Dream Girl).

 

Wow she was literally at Lollapalooza last year when I was there big miss on my part

 

I dig Anna of the North. I was going to see her live earlier this year but I ended up not going to save money. I should have gone in hindsight knowing what was to come for the rest of the year lol. I will check out Tove Stryke next though.

 

OK also make sure to listen to Sigrid's Raw EP plus the two songs from Don't Kill My Vibe EP that didn't make it to this album. Last rec for now, promise

 

Anna of the North was actually my last and only concert this year, definitely the tour you are talking about. But yeah, there's no way you don't love the Tove album. It's short and sweet, but fuckin good

Astrid sounds too much like Zara for me sometimes that it's hard not to completely compare them. I haven't been blown away by anything from Astrid S but I'll definitely give a listen to the album

 

Yeah her brand of pop is much closer to Zara than someone like Sigrid. My fav song by Astrid is still her first big single from 2015, "Hyde"

 

Haven't heard that song but I'll check it out too

 

ANOTHER great Norwegian artist, Matilda (which also features Dagny, another another great Norwegian female artist)

 

Guess I’ll be giving this a spin tonight, can’t wait for whatever she does next
