I like this album a lot. Still surprised she didn't sell out her Brooklyn show in April when it was only 1 or 2 NA dates yet she booked a BIGGER venue here for the fall.
This hasn’t clicked with me as much as Sucker Punch but there are still some great songs, Risk of Getting Hurt is so good
She generally has a knack for making albums I very much enjoy while they’re playing but can’t ever really remember individual songs from and this keeps that pattern going. The one exception is “Last to Know” which is one of the best pure pop songs of the year, hands-down. What a novel subject for a pop track.
Still one of the most regretful shows not going to that I had tickets for when she was playing at Paradise in Boston a few years back... I think Dancer is my favorite track on the album.
I only had to wait about an hour and there was a group of other people also waiting which was nice! She was super kind and signed everyone’s stuff and took pictures with everyone.
