She certainly has an interesting way of sequencing her albums - I'd personally prefer it if she mixed the styles a little more but I do really like this. She has such a great, delicate sense of melody.
Love this album, but my favorite stretch is Tommy - Princess Leia - Flyin'. Nice little center right there, gets a little deep and heavy before kicking the party back up again.
Just saw her live two days ago and it led me to rediscovering this record a bit. Wasn't a fan of the last half, but she played a few and I enjoyed what I heard. Flyin' is amazing to me now, I still love the first half, and Religion is still one of the best songs of the year.
