Loved this season as much as the others. Yea, could have ended for good with that finale. But excited for more and what the time jump does. Assuming by time jump, it means that the grandbaby is born, everyone is back home (except Alice), and Jimmy is still with the new girl.
time jump thing is kinda weird but i will take more stories with these characters and actors any time. i know it's not the BEST show or whatever, but i think it's my favorite right now.
Just binged this season over the last few days (avoided this thread) Do feel like most storylines this season were rushed. The passing of time in general from episode to episode seemed hard to follow. Derek goes from major heart surgery to walking to a park bench to back to Derek in like 1.5 episodes lol. Was not expecting Ford to come back at the end of the finale and holy S that had me crying. Segel playing piano alone also got me. As well as about 5 other moments this season. Will definitely be back for season 4 and hope that Segel's character is in a better mental state overall. If they jump the shark then so be it, will be easy to stop watching after being entirely happy with the ending this season.

Still really enjoyed this season. Probably wasn't quite as good as the second season, but Ford, Segel and Williams were all lights out from an acting perspective. As bad as HIMYM has aged for me these days, seeing Segel and Cobie Smulder on screen together again just makes me happy. The whole cast is brilliant.
