The guitar scenes really made me think of the god awful newsroom finale to its mostly awful final season and god did it make it easy to hate that character even more
Incredible season. Would have been perfectly happy had it been the series finale, as the ending was extremely fitting.
Mixed (more positive than not, but spottier than the prior two) feelings on the season as a whole and the finale fell in that category too, but Harrison Ford continued what was essentially a full season perfect streak. Not sure I loved the gymnastics it took to get there, but an incredible scene.
I still love this show but the season definitely left me wanting more. I feel like the different character storylines weren't given enough time to breathe or get fully fleshed out and I didn't really feel the emotional conclusions of them because of it.
I thought this was easily the best season of the series (I'd go 3, 2, 1). I do wish the final episode was longer than 35 minutes, which zipped by. I was also expecting the ending to be way more somber and honestly anticipated the final scene being Segel breaking down by himself and being in a super dark place. Glad that didn't happen
Great ending to a so-so season. Should be the ending to the series too. What do they need a time jump and another season for?
