I want more Shout Selects!!!

 

Speaking of Shout Selects...it’s been a year since Twins was announced! Was that quietly cancelled?

 

No... It's just been way more difficult than we expected unfortunately, you'll hear soon.

 

Excellent, I’m glad it’s still happening because it’s one of my favorites and (to my knowledge) there was never a Universal release on the format

 

this will indeed be the first time on blu-ray

 

Hell yeah! I seriously love what you guys do so much, Scream/Shout’s my top brand - even over Criterion. Forgot to mention I also picked up Shout’s Street Fighter Collection the other day and FUCKING LOVE IT!

 

The Friday the 13th box set is amazing

 

That thing is so beautiful, TBH my favorite thing about the whole thing is the original covers for each film...something we haven’t seen since the VHS era

 

And that the first 4 films are in 4K. That’s worth it alone.

I’m fine without the posters imo, I just want the movies and features above all

 

I wonder what other features the box set will have but they can't announce yet

 

My predictions:
•Crystal Lake Memories Documentary
•Horror’s Hallowed Grounds for a few films
•New interviews with cast
•A new Documentary focusing on the Jason’s of Crystal Lake
•Extended Versions (after seeing the stellar job you guys did with the uncut Bloody Valentine remaster, I believe anything’s possible)

 

As well as JGTH, although they won’t be in true 4k I’m still excited to see new transfers for these suckers!

 

JGTH will only be 2K I’m pretty sure

 

I would like to have crystal lake memories packed in. I just finished the documentary yesterday and it had plenty of good stuff

 

If they could get the cut footage for VII, I’d kiss their feet

 

I’m pretty sure I read that the original print of part VII was burned in a fire. I doubt we’ll ever be able to see it

Same rumors were said about Halloween 5’s infamous Dr Death footage and guess what was found last year? Plus I heard everything’s locked away in Paramount’s vault somewhere. I think anything’s possible with stuff always popping up. SF’s notorious for surprising us with remastered uncut footage. Silent Night Deadly Night & My Bloody Valentine pop up immediately and I do think there’s a good reason Event Horizon just got delayed by 4 months..

 

If we end up getting more footage from the F13 films then I'll be glad, but I'm not going to hold out hope or anything since they were supposedly destroyed.
