One thing I will say, after having watch the incredible Netflix series, I really hope they don't dumb down Matt/DD into some quippy funny guy.
Yeah, if he’d been moody and serious in this, it would be completely out of place. Really good episode, that. First episode since the first that felt more like a standard Marvel TV show. Not a bad thing, just a clear sign it’s ramping up. As she pointed out haha
I cannot believe that a very random 80s Spiderman comic featuring FROG-MAN (previously known as Leapfrog) that I bought when I was like 12 cause it was so silly it was cheap has its “hero” actually adapted to the screen in 2022. I pulled the comic out to be sure and sure enough the characters name was Eugene just like in the show.
That's hilarious. What a world we live in. Love it when stuff like that happens. It happens to me occasionally when reading or watching Star Wars and I get excited every time.
I love Frog-Man and I love that we live in a world where Frog-Man has been adapted to the MCU. Hope the new Daredevil show adapts Stilt-Man.
The hallway scene was a great throwback to the Netflix series. Gonna need to have Jen appear in at least one Daredevil episode now.
Definitely my favorite episode of the season. Loved the shot after she smashes the screen and you just see the side of her face with the red flashing lights in the background
this was great! Matt was maybe 10% too cocky for me, but Charlie Cox and Maslany had off-the-charts chemistry so I don't mind. also even without DD, the jokes actually landed! white tech bro doing "wakanda forever" was the best laugh all season also that ending went way more intense than I was expecting, was pretty hard to watch
The fact that normal citizens are doing the “Wakanda forever” thing has to make Okoye scream on the inside. I’d like to see her reaction.
Where did you see this? Had a look but couldn't find it. Not doubting you, just like seeing this stuff.
“While the character was teased earlier in the season, he’s finally reintroduced to audiences in Episode 8 of Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk — and he’s very much the same Matt Murdock audiences have come to know and love over the years, once again played by Charlie Cox returning to the role.” ‘She-Hulk’: Bringing Matt Murdock into Jen Walters' Life
It sorta reads to me like it's the same personality, vibe, etc. as opposed to the same actual person from that series but I'm probably wrong.
Charlie Cox/DD fit right into this perfectly. So great to see him in the role again. Ngl though I'm not crazy about the suit. The gold isn't working for me for some reason.
I’m surprised at how much sex they’re able to show/allude to. Marvel’s been completely chaste outside of the Netflix shows. I’m surprised She-Hulk is where they loosened the reigns
