I guess there wasn’t a thread for this yet? Jennifer Walters navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk.
I enjoyed the first episode. Some of the CG does kind of feel off, but more with Bruce than Jen for me. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but Hulk just seemed not quite right. It was a fairly standard backstory intro/pilot episode just basically setting the show up. We really only get Jen and Bruce with a small small bit of Jen’s coworkers/friends. I look forward to learning more about them and I’m sold on enjoying Jen and where he story is going. as a reminder, there seems to be a tag at the end of each episode that has been seen so far (1-4), so stick around for that. I enjoyed the one for today, got a solid laugh out of me.
Love Tatiana but this looks so unappealing to me. Interested to hear what people's thoughts towards it are.
I thought the first episode was good. It doesn’t take its time to get to the point, which is nice. The small scuffle between Hulk and She-Hulk was also good.
this was okay, post-credit scene was the best part that Tatiana fight was... rough lmao. it's like they didn't even finish filming it or something
Tatiana kills it, absolutely shines in this role. I did have some issues with the pacing of the first episode, i wish we got more background of her being a lawyer before we got full on into her origin story and Hulk stuff. I felt like this would have benefited from having episodes 1 and 2 released on the same date.
It was fun introduction to the series. Not great, but I have faith it can get there. The post credit scene was worth it.
I can't wait for the Legal Eagle reaction to this just for his inevitible long diatribe about how he went to the same law school as She-Hulk.
Premiere was fine. I actually thought the cgi looked decent in the dialog scenes, though a little more iffy with the action scenes.
Apparently the origin story got shifted from ep 8 to the premiere. From https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/she-hulk-steve-rogers-virginity-cut-scenes-1235342096/
I enjoyed this but I also kind of wish they'd dropped two episodes at the same time, especially because I had no idea who that was supposed to be at the end there except knowing Jameela is in this.
Glad they didn’t do two tbh. It’s a TV show, it’s supposed to build intrigue. I see the end of the episode and I think “I want to know who that is, so I will tune in next week”. Like all good TV shows should
Having seen the first four eps, I’d say be prepared for this show to be a little bit more episodic, where it’s more about She-Hulk taking up cases rather than fighting a big bad.
Anyone whose seen Ally McBeal. Does the tone of this match Ally McBeal? Wasn't that also 4th wall breaking comedy lawyer stuff?
Something just occurred to me about that spaceship in the beginning. Are we getting motherfucking Skaar?
