Curious to see what direction they go in now that the origin stuff is out of the way. I think that is what weighed down the film for me.

 

First one was cool. I'm down for a sequel. It also comes out a few months after Black Adam.

I loved the first movie, much more than I expected. Still don't think Black Adam is really going to get made, though.

I dunno, I think The Rock has a pretty good chance of using his Hollywood weight to will Black Adam into existence. Depends on, like, the timeline of when film productions will be possible, & also things like budget, etc., but at this point in development, I feel like it’s pretty likely to happen.

Though, maybe I’m just making myself believe that ‘cause, other than The Suicide Squad & New Gods, it’s the DC project I’m most intrigued by at the moment, lol.

 

Dwayne Johnson is a pretty big name and he seems excited about Black Adam, so I'm also of the belief that he'll make it happen one way or another.

 

He was just as stoked on that Doc Savage movie, too. I’ll gladly eat my words, but, yeah.

Just looked and a bunch of new 5 star reviews have popped up since he posted that. Trying to get ahead of the shitty DC fanboys perhaps?
