Shawn Mendes has the number one album in the country this week:

Shawn Mendes scores his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his latest studio effort, Wonder, bows atop the tally. The set earned 89,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Dec. 10, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

    Very surprised it's only 89K.

Every time I hear about this guy I'm appalled at how big he is in the States; for some reason, I feel he mostly goes unnoticed here.

Wait I though he was massive in Canada? I watched his documentary on Netflix and he's playing full on arenas.

Perhaps, I should have added that I'm from Quebec, where culture consumption is somewhat different from that of the rest of the country.

I also don't listen to the radio much, so maybe he's banking on more traditional channels, I don't know.
