I watched the first 3 episodes this week. Probably the most I've ever liked a show that consistently makes me feel so awful. Amy Adams is pretty masterful here. Her selling being back in those moments with Alice in ep 3 makes those flashbacks a thousand times more heartbreaking in retrospect. Gonna finish catching up today and I really don't know what to expect.
I’m having a hard time thinking of movies or shows that are abrasive and disgusting, but so well done without using gore and violence.

I can't believe I just found out or noticed that Marian and Amma (Crellin) have different last names than Camille (Preaker) poor Camille Marian and Amma, it was nice seeing John and Camille bond and it was scary how quickly Richard turned on Camille she's doing it again and I need to take care of it was amazing
“Nice Guys” turning on women just as quickly as the “bad guys” is peak Gillian Flynn. Also god does this show make me feel ill. I need a bath after every episode.

Amma calling Richard a dick and Jackie a witch and a pig in shit was amazing, also related to her crying I want cake for like 10 straight minutes, never mind Amma is by no means relatable fucked up family olympics described it pretty well
Maybe i should have but i did not see basically anything in the last 1.25 episodes coming. What a series but happy my Sunday night dreams will no longer haunt me lol
