Sharp Objects (HBO) TV Show

Nice. Never read the book but HBO + Amy Adams is enough to make me interested.

 

I bought the book but never read it. Glad I have a deadline now, it pushes me to get it done.

 

I loved the book. Adams is not how I pictured Camille but she's good enough to pull off the character.

I just finished the book. Probably my favorite Gillian Flynn now. I'm even more excited to watch this. It's going to be so dark!

 

Finally watched Big Little Lies and it’s percect and I can’t wait for this

I have this on hold at my library and I am gonna race through it so I can dig into the show. I’ve read Gone Girl and it’s my understanding this book is better. So pumped!

 

didn’t love this. definitely a slow start but it was intriguing enough and i love the cast so i’m sticking with it

 

Yeah it was just okay but I’ll keep watching for now.

 

I thought it was pretty good

 

Thought it was good, not great. Little on the slow side but I’m going to continue and see where it goes. I’m assuming things will start to take off and it’ll get pretty weird/creepy/exciting.

 

I loved it. Every shot was filled with dread and I could barely top fidgeting.

 

Jean-Marc Vallée did a great job directing this
the cast is great even though I imagine Amy Adams seems like a an interesting choice for Camille, I haven't read the book, and I'm not sure who I would envision
but yeah with all these shows they're slow burning so it needs time, it reminded me of watching Mosaic a bit

 

Nobody I know watched this last night. What a bummer.
